Assistance with Daily Living

Support with the everyday tasks that matter most.

What is Daily Living?

Daily living supports are the practical, hands-on assistance that helps you get through your day with dignity and independence. Whether you need a little help or a lot, our support workers are trained to provide the right level of assistance — doing things with you, not for you.

Together in Motion Services provides daily living supports in your own home and in the community. We match support workers carefully to participants so you have consistent, familiar faces who understand your routines and preferences.

Our approach is always to build your skills and confidence over time, so that you can do more for yourself as your capacity grows — while always being there when you need us.

What could this support look like?

Every person's support is different. Here is a realistic example of what a day with Together in Motion Services might look like.

Morning visit

Your support worker arrives at an agreed time and helps you with your morning routine — showering, dressing, grooming, breakfast and medications — at your pace and in your preferred way.

Household tasks

Depending on your plan, your support worker may assist with cleaning, laundry, meal preparation or shopping — either during the same visit or at a separate scheduled time.

Evening support

Evening visits can include dinner preparation, medication prompting, personal care and help with your wind-down routine. We work around your schedule.

Your choice and control

You decide what support looks like, when it happens and who provides it. Your routines are yours — we follow your lead. If your needs or preferences change, your support plan changes with them.

How is the support personalised?

We take time to understand your routines, preferences and the way you like things done before your first visit. Your support plan documents exactly how you want to be supported — and we match you with workers who suit your personality and communication style. If something is not working, we adjust it.
