Purpose
Together in Motion Services uses social media platforms including Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, TikTok and YouTube to share information about our services, celebrate participant achievements, share community news and engage with our community. This policy sets out how we manage our social media presence.
Participant privacy and consent
We will never share images, stories or identifying information about participants without their explicit written consent. Participants and families have the right to withdraw consent at any time. We will remove content promptly if consent is withdrawn.
Content standards
All content we publish on social media is respectful, inclusive and consistent with our values. We do not publish content that is discriminatory, offensive or that could harm the reputation of participants, staff or the organisation. We represent people with disability with dignity and in a person-centred way.
Comments and interactions
We welcome respectful engagement on our social media pages. We will remove comments that are abusive, discriminatory, contain personal information about others, or are spam. We reserve the right to block users who repeatedly violate these standards.
Staff use of social media
Staff must not share information about participants, colleagues or the organisation on personal social media accounts. Staff must not connect with participants on personal social media accounts. Any concerns about social media use should be raised with a manager.
Complaints and feedback via social media
If you raise a complaint or concern via social media, we will acknowledge it publicly and invite you to contact us directly so we can address it properly and confidentially. We do not resolve formal complaints through social media.
