Group and Centre-Based Activities

Connect, participate and thrive — together.

What is Group Activities?

Group and centre-based activities provide a structured, supported environment where participants can engage in meaningful activities alongside others. These programs are designed to promote social connection, build confidence, develop skills and support active participation in community life.

Together in Motion Services facilitates a range of group programs tailored to the interests, goals and support needs of participants. Activities are led by experienced support workers who create a welcoming, inclusive atmosphere where everyone can participate at their own pace.

Our group programs are designed with accessibility at the forefront — with appropriate staffing ratios, accessible venues, adapted activities and a genuine focus on each participant's individual goals and enjoyment.

What could this support look like?

Every person's support is different. Here is a realistic example of what a day with Together in Motion Services might look like.

Arrival

You arrive at the group session and are welcomed by the support team. There is time to settle in, catch up with familiar faces and get ready for the day's activities.

Activities

The group engages in the day's program — cooking, arts and crafts, a fitness session, a community outing or a skill-building activity. Everyone participates at their own pace.

Wrap up

The session wraps up with time to reflect on the day, connect with others and look forward to the next session. Transport home is available if needed.

Your choice and control

You choose which programs you attend and what you want to get out of them. Within each session, you participate at your own pace and in your own way. We never pressure anyone to do anything they are not comfortable with.

How is the support personalised?

While group programs are delivered in a shared setting, we ensure each participant's individual goals, communication needs and support requirements are understood and met. Staffing ratios are set to allow meaningful individual attention within the group.
