What is Household Tasks?
A well-maintained home is essential for health, safety and wellbeing. For many NDIS participants, completing household tasks independently can be difficult or impossible due to their disability — and that is exactly what this support is designed to address.
Together in Motion Services provides practical, respectful assistance with the domestic tasks that keep your home running. Our support workers follow your preferences and routines, working alongside you or completing tasks on your behalf depending on your goals and funded supports.
Where appropriate, we also focus on building your capacity to manage household tasks more independently over time — supporting you to develop skills, confidence and routines that work for you.

What could this support look like?
Every person's support is different. Here is a realistic example of what a day with Together in Motion Services might look like.
Arrival
Your support worker arrives at the agreed time and checks in with you about what you would like done today and any specific preferences or priorities.
Tasks
Your support worker works through the agreed tasks — cleaning, laundry, meal preparation or other domestic activities — following your preferences and routines.
Wrap up
Before leaving, your support worker checks in with you to make sure everything is done to your satisfaction and notes anything for next time.

You decide which tasks are done, how they are done and when. Your home is yours — we follow your preferences and routines, not the other way around. Consistent support workers mean your home is always done the way you like it.
