What is MTA?
MTA bridges the gap between where you are now and where you are going. It is funded for up to 90 days and is designed for participants who have an approved NDIS plan but are waiting for their long-term housing and support arrangements to be confirmed.
Together in Motion Services provides MTA in comfortable, accessible properties with the support staffing you need during your stay. We work actively with you, your support coordinator and the NDIA to progress your long-term housing as quickly as possible.
MTA is often used after a hospital stay, following a change in living circumstances, or while SDA or SIL arrangements are being finalised.

What could this support look like?

Morning
Start the day in your own comfortable space with support available for your morning routine. MTA accommodation is set up for your needs from day one.
Daytime
While you are in MTA, we actively work with your support coordinator and the NDIA to progress your long-term housing. You can also access community activities and other supports during your stay.
Planning
Regular check-ins with our team and your coordinator to update you on progress toward your long-term housing and ensure you feel informed and supported throughout.
Your choice and control
MTA is a temporary arrangement, but your preferences still matter. You choose how your days are structured, what support looks like and how involved you want to be in planning your next step. We keep you informed and in control throughout.

We assess your support needs at the start of your MTA stay and tailor the staffing and daily support to match. We also work proactively with your support coordinator to ensure your long-term housing is progressed as quickly as possible.

Confirm MTA funding
Check that your NDIS plan includes MTA funding. Your support coordinator or the NDIA can confirm this.
